Help: Unable to copy my email lists when using export function to migrate profile to new computer.

It is March 17, 2025. I am using Thunderbird 128.8.0ESR (64bit) on Windows 11 Home (version 24H2) on BOTH COMPUTERS! When I use the Thunderbird Tools Export function from my old Window 11 computer to my new Windows 11 computer it copies all my email and folders correctly. I can send and receive email fine on the new computer. However, it fails to copy over my Thunderbird address book and my email lists (the address book and lists are blank). I tried multiple times. My profile is 76GB large. So I tried navigating to C:/Users/Profiles/app data/thunderbird/roaming/profiles/profile name to perform the move manually. Still no luck.

About 2 years ago. Thunderbird versions had the ability to export address books separately. That option is no longer available. So if you know of a way to export my lists of addresses (each lists is a thousand email addresses) That would also solve the problem. -Eileen

Hello, today I could not launch Firefox on my Mac. Because this is a corporate machine from Kyndryl, I downloaded from Kyndryl App Store, I have rebooted the systems, I have updated iOS to last version, but still haven't solved the issue. This is the situation: Firefox is installed, I click to launch it, I am asked to authenticate with MFA I authenticate correctly, and Firefox just sits at the dock bar jumping, then stops jumping, and nothing else happens. I repeated the process several times, made several reboots, nothing changed. Can you suggest a solution?

i just received a notice that Firefox features will stop working soon for firefox for Android but now the note has vanished from my phone. None of the search features or help topics can answer my question

I turned my laptop on this morning and Thunderbird disapeared! It looks as though an auto update failed after the .exe file etc had been deleted. How can I re-instal (via my desktop if necessary which I am on here) without losing all my settings. The profile appears to be intact. Having re-installed, how do I connect to the profile which is on a separate disk?

Can I downgrade from a beta version to a regular version of Mozilla Thunderbird?

Like this TB community, I'm asking if anyone knows or has experienced something like this. I'm assuming you first downloaded a beta version of Mozilla Thunderbird, and it worked and was configured, and you want to downgrade to a regular version of Mozilla Thunderbird without losing your messages and settings. What steps do you recommend to achieve this? Or is it not possible? Thank you and have a nice day.

Como esta comunidad TB , les consulto si alguno sabe o ha experimentado algo asi, suponiendo que bajaron primero una version Beta de Mozilla Thunderbird, y se se trabajo y configuro, y se quiere pasar a una version normal de Mozilla Thunderbird sin perder los mensajes y configuraciones, que paso a paso recomiendan para lograrlo ? o no se puede ? Hello, I want to update the browser version on my "Huawei matepad t8" device. There are no Google services on it, only the app gallery. You cannot download the installer for android on your official website. It redirects to the Google play store. How do I get updates? Can I get a direct link to download the .apk?

I recently moved my TB to a new PC desktop, and TB is working fine. But I see that my local archive folder is gone from both the new and the old PC, as well as my NSTMP folder. Could someone help me locate them?

I have windows 10 at moment, but I know I will have to update to winows 11 soon, but I am worried n case I cannot get my Mozilla back again,.

Do I start all over again, or when I update will my laptop still recognise my Mozilla account.

To be honest, I cannot remember my Mozilla password...eeek !! thanfully, my Mozilla did.

I only want Mozilla, I do not use anythng else.

I recently bought a new computer and Installed Thunderbird. It worked fine. Then one day it would not start up, i got a message that a copy of Thunderbird is running and I should close it. I clicked the close button and the same message kept reappearing. It never could close. I tried uninstalling Thunderbird, it would not install and I kept getting the same message. How can I fix this and install a new copy of Thunderbird? Do I have to erase some registry?

I'm running Thunderbird 128.8.0esr 64bit. I see that many extensions are saying that they work on versions including 137. I see that the newest release is 136.0, which has at least one feature I like: a way to globally set threaded or unthreaded messages. What about 137? Is it still in beta. Is either one of these worth upgrading from 128? Thanks!

My system is Windows 11 x64 Thunderbird 128.8.0, a system check shows an update is available version 136.0, but can not find any reference to that version. How can I update to that version?
