While taking my old ipad 2 out of the drawer to watch youtube video it kept crashing while using chrome and opera. Finally, decided to use Firefox and youtube is running great! I know the old saying "If it ain't broke don't fix it" but couldn't help to resist asking if there is any settings in firefox to optimize watching youtube videos on old iOS devices.

i have no sound in firefox ,while other applications and edge or chrome give me normal sound.It ia no muted ,checked the volume mixer everything should be working but no sound

I've been having an odd issue with my cursor for a few weeks, even after updating to the currently most recent version (146.0.1) running on MacOS Sonoma. After I play a video, on YouTube or a streaming service like HBOMax, the video information bar at the bottom of the screen disappears. Previously, the cursor would disappear with it. Now it doesn't. Once the video bar disappears, I have to move the non-disappeared cursor once again, which brings back the video bar, and the cursor then disappears with the video bar on the second effort.

It's a minor issue, but is quite annoying, particularly considering this did not used to be the case over the last 10+ years of my Firefox usage. I'm hoping someone has fix, and if not, dev team can take note of this to be addressed in future versions.

I recently started having this issue with YouTube in the mobile Firefox browser where if I tap within the video frame (anywhere on the picture) the video pauses/plays just like clicking the video frame on desktop. Before when I tapped the frame it would toggle the overlay play menu with the usual play/skip/settings but the video would continue playing beneath the buttons. To clarify, the play menu always disappears like it should when the video is playing so this is not the "Accessibility player" settings issue.

The issue goes away if I sign out of YT which makes me suspect it's an account settings issue, however I have played with the accessibility and other settings to no avail. I have uninstalled/reinstalled all of my extensions, restarted my phone, signed in and out of youtube/firefox, updated everything, uninstalled and reinstalled firefox, no solutions so far, please help!

I would like to slow down audio playback. My phone's settings will slow it down in settings, but not when I use a chatbot. I'm not used to hearing anyone talk that fast. No, I rarely listen to radio and don't have a TV. I want a sleep story in a voice that is low, warm and older. I welcome suggestions, please explain like I am 5. Thank you 🖐️

Hello everybody, i hope you are having a great day!. I have a problem with Youtube about the frames drops, in 1080p60fps i have drops but in 1080p normal don't. For system operative i'm using Fedora 43. And the Firefox version is the 145.0.1 64 bits. My specs are low: Intel i5 6200u with his integrated graphics (Intel HD 520) Already installed the extension h264ify, and i think i have all the correct drivers and codecs from the rpmfusion (ffmpeg, mesa freeworld) If u need more detail and information i can give it to you. Firefox is my favorite Browser because I have been able to customize it tremendously so that things do not buzz and blink and pop up at me, nothing flashes, nothing makes noise unless I deliberately permit it. today I caught Firefox for mobile permitting a video to auto play. I opened a webpage to read an article and suddenly realized that my podcast (from a different app) had been interrupted and now sound was coming from this page (clear from the content of the sound). I literally had not even seen the video in question as part of the page because I had not scrolled down far enough to where it was playing already. And when I had the lock screen on, clicking pause did not stop the video. So Video was playing without my permission, and was ignoring the usual rules of iOS.

I certainly had not clicked on the video or seen any setting that allowed the website to autoplay videos.

And this is not the first time it has happened, but it is the first time that I am positive that I did not do anything to permit this behavior, and that it had to have been the browser automatically playing something on the page. I verified that the same website does not auto play video in Safari. This is a bug in Firefox Browser for iOS .... unless there is some new setting in an updated version of the browser that says 'please bombard me with autoplay at times" which by default was switched on in a recent update.

I am running MacOSX 11.6.8 and have just recently had my Firefox browser update to version 146.0 and it now has a problem with content playback: whether on video or usic, YouTube or Tidal or any other streaming service, whenever playing back content it stops at 2 minutes and 8 seconds, displays the buffering wheel, and doesnt come back on its own. If I hit pause and then hit play again, it starts playing again fine. But then after 2 minutes and 8 seconds it stops again and I have to restart it again. And again. And again every 2 minutes and 8 seconds. This is a very odd problem, is anyone else experiencing this? It is very annoying.
