Is there a way of changing/removing the independence of browser windows?

Whenever I have multiple windows and close one them I cannot retrieve them, re-opening closed tabs doesn't work, since it only works on their own window.

Is there a way to change this behaviour?

I tried Video DownloadHelper and YouTube Video Downloader and didn't see any action.

Do I need to setup settings a certain way to make it work?

What are the steps to make it work?

One morning about a week ago I woke up and opened my computer. Some update has probably been installed, and all the tab groups that I have diligently organized and saved - disappeared!

The tabs disappeared and all the sites saved within them disappeared also.

Example uploading file or a picture when i finish all the page reloaded..or just switch another app & go back sam problem all the page refresh again ...i face That problem just in firefox ... I have used Mozilla for years...am now 80, had to move to senior housing services, and first now have been able to get back onto the computer....and I am lost and can not access email or the Firefox site.....
