Hi, I have problems when using Firefox Android with my Samsung 24 Pro. This doesn't happen with my other phone, that is a One Plus, nor in Chrome browser.

1) I start using Firefox 2) I search something with the bar (google engine) 3) I press the bar to change my search 4) Press to remove a character with the delete

If I searched with more than one word word, it deletes the space in between, eg. "hello how are you" transforms into "hello how areyou". Spected behaviour "hello how are yo". If its only one word a random letter is deleted. Sometimes it deletes a complete word.

If, for example, instead of pressing delete, I touch again the bar in step 4) no bug ocurrs.

I'm having real problems with the pop up "find text" box that appears at the bottom of my Macbook Pro when I try to enter data on web pages since I updated Firefox a few weeks ago. I can find articles on disabling this feature for PCs, but nothing for Macs. Please help !

Search is not finding emails that I can see are there. I looked at "Rebuilding the Global Database does not complete (Mac)" and although I use Windows, I followed the hint to look at the Activity Manager and the Error Console after an attempt to re-index failed to complete. The Activity Manager showed "Indexing 429 of 5663 messages in Sent - horshamquakermeeting@phonecoop.coop (IMAP) (7% complete)" The Error Console showed "1764413544692 addons.xpi WARN Checking C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird\distribution\extensions for addons" I used Windows Explorer to look for addons.xpi on the whole of the C: drive. Not only is there not such a file but C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird\distribution does not have an extensions folder. Also I have previously looked in C:\Users\Michael\AppData\Roaming rather than C:\Program Files (x86) to find Thunderbird files. Thunderbird is otherwise behaving well, just that I can't search for emails. I may have deleted too many files earlier when I was trying to remove an addon that I didn't want. How do I get back to normal?

I use a search-based folder that simply combines the messages from the spam folders of multiple accounts. There is no actual query, it's set to "Match all messages". For several years now, that has resulted in a search folder where the first message in the list appears twice. I can't delete both of them, but if I delete one, and shift away, then go back, the duplicate is always gone.

This is not exactly a critical bug, but it is annoying and causes a little extra work. It would be nice to have it fixed.

I am currently running 140.5.0esr (64-bit) under Windows 10, but this has been true for quite a few versions back.

Is there other information I can provide that would be useful?

Using latest Firefox browser, when I open Google and want to ‘paste’ a word, it will not let me. Instead I get this default message, that I can’t delete. I can type anything I want, but I can’t ‘paste’ a word or words. How to fix please? HP desktop PC Windows 11 64 bit I see there is a 'new' (to me) AI mode icon in the 'same' search window as where you type on the 'right' of the search box. Maybe I just haven't noticed because I didn't have an issue before.

I wanted to set keywords for search engines (in order to quickly change them for a single query). This cannot be done for search engines by default (why?), so I had to delete them and create a new one with the same link and my own keywords. But now I can't give them the same name back, firefox says that such a search engine already exists. In general, it doesn't matter to me which letter is there. The main purpose of my appeal is to draw attention to the fact that search engines cannot be edited by default, because it is quite inconvenient. Hello. I searched a solution for some time now, how to remove any typing of a search in google for instance, to be displayed in url bar. I read some articles with words I don't understand, like userchromecss or whatever : I do not work in computer science or anything about it. I would like some well defined user friendly options or just don't mix two different things that will alter our experience using your product. Could you just correct the search procedure so url is url, and query is query? I would love this to be corrected. Search queries on the page, and internet addresses in url bar. Thank you.

When I do a command-F and get a "Search Messages" window, I get a list of things to search on. The left-hand side list starts with "Subject" and continues on to "From", "Body" and "Date". Way down near the bottom of the list, the atom "From, To, Cc or Bcc" appears. That is the option that I want 99% of the time. I do not want just "From" since that lets me miss messages in a thread.

If I select "From, To, Cc or Bcc", why is TB not smart enough to re-order these options so that the option I always pick is at the top? Barring that, is there any way that I can re-order these options manually? If so, how? If not, why not?

Lately, when I do searches for emails, I get a listing of the emails I'm looking for, but when I click on the email, sometimes I get the message "no message found", even though it shows up on the search and I can find it manually with the date. Any ideas of how to fix this easily?

I still have windows 8.1. I do all my bill paying online. I can no longer open my banks website for online business. I thought Firefox had renewed support through 2026? Wasnt Firefox a search engine? The listed search s - none of them open banks etc.

I'd like my search results to include messages where the search item is in the Sender or Subject but it appears to find only words in the body. Is there a way to include this? btw, the window pane on the left shows a filter but I don't know how it got there or how to delete it. Is this relevant? Is there documentation on how to use the search feature to specify folders, binary searches, etc? Thanks
