I updated to Firefox 23 yesterday and i noticed some changes,
First: The downloads, home and bookmarks buttons to the right of the address bar have been moved around.
Second: A blank google page opens for no reason when i click to open a website or if when i do nothing.
Are these just the new changes or is there a glitch or something. Or has Anyone Else noticed these?
Thanks

Hello,
You can find out about the changes in Firefox 23 here: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/23.0/releasenotes/
If you want to change the order of the buttons on the address bar please see the help page below. It is all completely customisable:
How do I customize or rearrange toolbar items?
Could you be a bit more specific about the second problem? When does the google page appear?
A screenshot of the problem might help me to understand - How do I create a screenshot of my problem?
Once you've done this, attach the saved screenshot file to your forum post by clicking the Browse... button below the Post your reply box. This will help us to visualize the problem.

sometimes the blank Google page opens for no reason anytime, But as you can see in the screenshot, I opened the Mozilla Website and the blank Google page opened in a new tab for no reason.
Thanks for the clarification. That seems odd. It is not a 'feature' of Firefox v23.
Could you please follow the instructions below to open Firefox in Safe Mode and see if the problem still appears?
Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode
If the problem does not occur in Safe Mode then please continue to follow the instructions in the article to troubleshoot the issue.
If the problem still occurs in Safe Mode then I suggest doing a Reset. This will return Firefox to it's default settings but will keep your history, bookmarks etc. See below:
Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings
I hope that helps.
Today I updated my firefox. While converting to PDF, I found that the Adobe icon is getting dimmer as it was in Firefox 22. Is that icon changed related to update 23 or something else?
Hi Psycho1729, I don't think Firefox 23 changed any third party icons. However, something about the rendering of toolbars could have changed. There are so many changes in each release that it's hard to know...
In case it's related to a display driver incompatibility, have you tried disabling Firefox's use of hardware acceleration for graphics?
You usually need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
(WIN) orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
(MAC) Firefox menu > Preferences > Advanced
On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Use hardware acceleration when available"
If you restart Firefox, is the issue resolved (or at least improved)?
cross posted with jscher2000. Please ignore.

Hi jscher2000, no it does not solve the problem!
Hi Psycho1729, I don't have the full version of Adobe Acrobat, so I probably don't have the icon where you have it. Where does it appear in your Firefox?
Edit: Or maybe you meant Adobe Flash player??

Icon looks like this.
Hi Psycho1729, sometimes an icon will be faded if it is disabled. This can be done either on the Add-ons page or using the extension's menu. Sometimes independently from one another.
Or maybe it just changed? I don't have Acrobat myself to compare.
I checked it, it is not disabled and working fine for me. But its faded out. And the icon is same I think. I have few other browser installed in my laptop.
It is an icon with a drop down arrow, so I assume that a drop down list opens if you click this button?
Which extension adds this icon?
This is Off Topic but how do you start a new thread ?
TIA.
Hi Mkultra,
You can ask a support question from here:
Psycho--I have the same faded Acrobat icon. On two other forums it was suggested that V23 has been retooled to accommodate high-resolution icons for Win8/tablets and that Adobe has not yet issued a his-res icon for Acrobat 10-11Pro. I can get no confirmation of this from the Adobe Chat support, the only support they offer without a hefty fee. Perhaps an Adobe Acrobat expert or even employee is lurking on this forum and can confirm this or give us another explanation.
Hi cor-el,
When I click on the dropdown, the icons present inside the dropdown are not faded. Actually they are as same as in previous firefox version.
The extension is .png
