won't open downloads
So, I have the latest version of Firefox, and whenever I try to download something it won't open. My downloads download fine, but they never appear in my computer, and the "Open Containing Folder" isn't selectable. I also do not have the "Open" option.
Can I have some help please?

Hello,
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.
To Reset Firefox do the following:
- Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
- Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
- Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
- Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

the firefox automatic virus scanner is preventing your files from opening or working. this will tell you how to turn it off in "about:config". I did it and FINALLY my downloads work!
