Iframe with a webform & form field focus

I have a page which has a link that when clicked, opens a modal window containing an an iFrame. the iFrame points to a page which has a webform. The page with the webform has code in it to set the focus to the first text-entry form field. In a previous version of Firefox, this functionality worked; it currently works in IE 8 and Google Chrome. In FF 7.0.1, the form field never gets focus.

When I open the page with the webform directly, the first text-entry form-field DOES get focus.
