I seem to be having a problem with Google web site. More specifically the maps pages.

I can always tell when this is going to happen by seeing that Firefox is having a slow or no connection to xxxx.gstatic.com

this problem seems to be intermittent. Some times it works and sometimes not.

I have tried all the recommended things, clear cache, cookies Even going as far as cold reboot.

Not sure what else to do.

OK for some unknown reason Google maps works today, so far.

I have read the troubleshooting tips and have most of the settings as outlined. I run FF very plain.

So for now google seems to be working, tomorrow, maybe not. Will see.

Why would I mark this as solved, when in fact it was not solved.

I did nothing, no changes to FF.

One day not working, the next it works. No known reason for this.

Are you using extensions like Adblock Plus or NoScript that can block content?

Did you ever use extensions that have modified network.http prefs or did you ever do that yourself?

You can open the about:config page via the location bar and do a search for network.http via the Filter at the top of the about:config page.
You can reset all network.http prefs that appear bold (user set) via the right-click context menu to their default values.
