How can I add bookmarks to bar with logo only, no description?

In both IE and Google Chrome it is possible to have web site logos only in bookmark bar, no descriptive words. When I add a favourite to Firefox and delete description before clicking 'add', both logo and wording appear in bar. On both IE and Google one can right click a bookmark bar favourite and edit info which appears in bar. Right click a Firefox bookmark and there is not this facility. How can I get logos only on Firefox bookmark bar, please? Many thanks, David
