Adobe Acrobat printer stops responding

I use Adobe Acrobat extensively to print select web articles into PDF format. Whenever I pick an article to print using Adobe Acrobat PDF printer, I attempt to copy/paste the article's title into the Save As file line of the PDF creation dialog box. Since about Firefox 3.5, whenever I do this, no text gets copied into the file name line of the PDF creation dialog box and Firefox freezes, often together with PDF printer, and needs to be restarted. This problem still persists with Firefox 4. I have consistently seen this happen using Adobe Acrobat Pro 8 and now Adobe Acrobat Pro X on all of my Windows 7 computers (both 32- and 64-bit). As a workaround, I switched to using Google Chrome. Alternatively, I copy the source text into Notepad first to strip any formatting that might be causing the problem. Then, copied from Notepad into the Save As line, the text appears and everything works fine.
