version 3.6.15 downloaded through ff 3.6.14 and will not restart even with fresh reboot ??

As in prior version of FF 3.6 - the update 3.6.15 downloaded and installed through the browser. When I click on the restart firefox button; a dialog box opens and tells me to make sure another FF session is not running and restart firefox to install version 3.6.15. There are no other versions but the 1 session. I rerbooted the system from a complete shutdown and find in looking through Win XP Pro task manager, no other instance of FF is running and I cannot get by this dialog box to complete the upgrade ???

What is the workaround to complete the FF 3.6.15 installation please ??

As in prior version of FF 3.6 - the update 3.6.15 downloaded and installed through the browser.
