The built-in VPN in desktop Firefox is currently rolled out in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, United Kingdom, and United States.
An update. The built-in VPN is available in Switzerland and Poland now, however location selection is not an available feature.

To supplement the above, the VPN has been available in Switzerland (as well as Poland) since v151; it just hasn't been mentioned in our support articles.
Please let us know if you are in Switzerland and don't have the VPN available. There are a couple of things you'll be able to check.
