Can't save some images on Firefox Mobile
Go to https://www.palemoon.org/screenshots.shtml Click on a screenshot to enlarge it. Try to download it. You can't. Go to https://aur.archlinux.org/ Try to download the image in the upper left-hand corner. Go to https://archiveofsins.com/i/thread/772970/#772970 Click on a cat picture It GETs the data it displays the image long-press download "Descarga fallada" The image is rendered. It is on my device. No one should be able to stop me from saving it. Warning to the wise: for your eyes' safety, do not visit any other part of archiveofsins.com other than the provided URL pointing to cat pictures.

Since this is Firefox for Android, I was unable to determine which web requests were being issued for open vs download, and otherwise I would compare them. Does anyone know how to intercept these web requests?

Thank you for bringing these up!
- For the first issue (with Palemoon) I've filed a bug report: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2048482 (the issue also affects Firefox Desktop).
- The second issue (with Arch) doesn't seem to be a bug, but a consistent cross-browser behavior. The image is just a <div> background and is not supposed to be downloadable.
- For the third issue (with cats), I've also filed a bug report: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2048487
The webcompat team should look into the filed bugs in the near future. I'll keep you updated, but you can also use the Follow button in the bugs to get updates sooner.

Hi, just a quick update that https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2048487 no longer reproduces (likely due to some server-side change).
