Cant pin to taskbar

I recently installed firefox on my Windows 10 laptop, but i cant pin it to the taskbar via right click (this bug wont go away no matter what i do) and also cant open the start menu (also wont go away). I also tried to pin it directly via the exe, but for some reason, it opens another version of firefox, almost as if it was in another acount was logged in (i only have 1 account in firefox).
