Yes, there are two files: abook.sqlite and history.sqlite . if thunderbird is still on old computer, do this:

  1. on old computer, click help>troubleshootinginformation
  2. scroll to 'profile folder' and click 'open folder'
  3. exit thunderbird
  4. you are now in profile. COPY abook.sqlite and history.sqlite to externa media
  5. repeat steps 1 through 3 on new computer
  6. paste the two exported files into profile
  7. you're done
