Thunderbird emails
Yesterday I was able, with someone's help, to turn off the feature in Thunderbird that is a pop-up on lower left of screen that a new email has come in. But now I want to also get rid of the sound. Didn't have this problem with my old computer and Windows 10. Or is this something I can only not have when speakers are turned off?

The following steps might be helpful: "Settings" > "General" > "Incoming Mails" section > "When new messages arrive:" section > Untick "Play a sound".
