Deleted Items keeps getting remove from Favorites

I am using the Favorites view in my folder list. Works great except for Deleted Items keep forgetting it's favorite status. I have to click a bunch of time to get it set back. Then after a day or so it forgets again. Why is it doing that? Is there a way to keep it set as a favorite forever? Thanks.
