Generally, it is not recommended to sign in to your Firefox account and sync with a public computer. Public computers, pose significant security and privacy risks.

If you absolutely must use a public computer, consider these alternatives to signing in and syncing:

Using a private browsing window (or "Incognito Mode") can prevent the browser from saving history, cookies, and other data locally. However, it doesn't protect you from keyloggers or other malware on the computer itself.

If you sign in to a site that supports 2FA, enabling it provides an extra layer of security. Even if a bad actor gets your password, they'd still need your second factor (like a code from your phone) to access the account.

The safest practice is to avoid entering any sensitive information, including your Firefox account credentials, on a public computer.
