Firefox v142.0.1 (64-bit) has crippled my browser!!!!

ďalšie možnosti

This morning (08/28/25), I updated my browser to v142.0.1 (64-bit), and Facebook as well as other sites have been affected to the point that I can't even see contents now!!!!!!!

I (God forbid) opened the same sites in Edge, and there's no problem viewing them on Edge.

Is there a way that I can roll back this latest update, because I had no problems until this morning. I'm running a Win 10 Pro OS.

Hi

What is the error message that you see when you try to access those websites in Firefox?

I don't get an error message, but when I visit a Facebook site, it just displays a couple of white rectangles as well as some gray ones. The Facebook header is there, but the text doesn't come through. Another site, 'fox2now.com' loads, but when clicking on any article, it first displays a large 'X' logo, followed by a text only print of the article.

I called my mom, who has Win11 Home, and she said that hers is working fine with this most recent update. I've rebooted, but that didn't remedy this issue! Before this latest update, Firefox was working great though.

Like I said, it's not the sites, it's this latest release of Firefox. Both sites that I posted images from load just fine in the Edge browser.

Here are the same sites snipped from opening them in Edge. Like I said, I had no issues until this update this morning.

Totally wonky! I've used Firefox since high school, and I've never run into this issue.

Hi, tgt1234, If you still have this issue, I would recommend to just do a 'Refresh Firefox'. It automatically transfers your key personal data (passwords, bookmarks, history, open tabs, cookies). The only real caveat: you need to reinstall your extensions (though most sync their data if you log into Firefox Account).

I hope this helps,

F
