In Firefox for Android, when you tap the menu button, do you have "Sync and save data"? This usually appears about halfway down the menu, after Extensions. After you tap that, you should have an option to scan a QR code or "Use email instead".

Hi,no after extensions its "open links in apps" the sync and save data isnt there

If i sign out, i then get sync and save data at the top of the page, but then what do l do?

When you are signed in, does your user name appear on the menu? Tap your user name for account-related options. I think that is where "Sync now" is, for example.

Will you still have this device available after you get the new phone? I think they both need to be connected at the same time to see open tabs.

I have stumbled upon the solution after l realised that the email sign in was different on the new device,l changed it to the old one and it synched -partially- my history but not my open tabs! This is not a problem as l can do that manually. Thanks for your help.

When you go to the tabs list, it typically has sections for regular, private, and desktop. Does it have a section for other mobile devices? I can't remember how that is supposed to display.
