Where / what file is used to store Cache & Cookies

Unsure if this is correct category... Years ago when Firefox was in it's infancy - Firefox settings used to allow much more power/control over cookies & how you deleted them. You could actually display & select individually ones you wanted to delete. Now Firefox has it's own Interface 'utility' and only allows you to delete 'groups' of cookies based on their App name. I was looking for the location / name of the dataset which is used to store cookies - so I could delete them more finely. Or is this in some sort of special format which is ONLY accessible thru Settings. I see MANY Cookie add-ons, mostly dealing with auto-responding to cookie prompts. Actually as of this writing - I am trying one of these.

>settings>Cookies and Site Data 3 different settings interface. What is that missing? Been that way for a while - I don't understand what you mean by "groups based on app names".

The "Manage Data" dialog lets you delete cookies and local storage data (not cache) by site.

There is no longer a centralized list of all individual cookies set by all sites -- that was discontinued more than 7 years ago.

Instead you can view the list of cookies pertinent to a specific page, and other data set by the site, by calling up the Storage Inspector while viewing that page (Shift+F9). https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/devtools-user/storage_inspector/

To emphasize this part, "I was looking for the location / name of the dataset which is used to store cookies" I want to know if this file in W11 can be relocated to another drive. My C: drive is short on space
