I was attempting to sync bookmarks from Firefox on my Android phone to my laptop. They weren't appearing on my laptop so I deleted the bookmarks on the laptop version and updated the browser. I signed in again and both the Android and desktop versions synced. Now, all of my bookmarks have disappeared on my Android phone. I tried to restore using import and backup/restore but that didn't do anything. Is there any way of getting them back? I also have a tablet which has my bookmarks, albeit older versions as it hasn't connected to the internet for several months. How can I safely get these across to my phone and desktop without the risk of losing them again? Firefox on android has to be the absolute worst browser for managing bookmarks. I'm thinking of changing to something else.
