  • Firefox version 128 is compatible with macOS 10.15 and higher.

So you can't update it. Firefox 78.15.0 ESR it the last one for your OS.

A minor correction. It is Firefox 116.0 and later that requires macOS 10.15 and higher to run.

Hi, thanks but it doesn't solve my problem as I need an upgrade compatible with my macOS 10.9.5 otherwise I will lose Firefox browser rather soon and it's the only one I can use on my vintage computer ! Same issue with a macbook OSX Capitan 10.11.6… :(

For macOS 10.9, 10.10, 10.11 the most current Firefox you can run is Firefox 78.15.0esr. Firefox 79.0 to 115 requires macOS 10.12, 10.13, 10.14 to run.
