Did you get my previous question about problems with Optimum.net?
I get the green light for creating an account... but it goes yellow tag when I click Done. Will you help, please. I am able to log into my account online with the same PW I have to use in setting up the Thunderbird account. Thanks from a donation customer. //... Joe

That is not what Optimum is saying to me. They just want my login name like I use to login to Optimum's web mail page. //...
For a suddenlink address:
incoming IMAP imap.suddenlink.net, 993, SSL/TLS, normal password, full email address
outgoing SMTP smtp.suddenlink.net, 465, SSL/TLS, normal password, full email address
