Firefox mysteriously removed from PC (runnign MS Win 10). Icons remained, but nothing else.

I sat down to use PC running MS Win, my Firefox icons no longer opened Firfox. It seems that Firefox was been removed. Problem is, I didn't remove it, no one else has access to this PC. Is MS Win doing this? Any ideas? (Switching to Linux ASAP).
