You can remove Yahoo or at least make DDG your default search engine.

Firefox does not come with Yahoo as one of the defaults for any locale since Firefox 57.0 due to the lawsuit.

So something else is installing a Yahoo search engine in Firefox, perhaps one of the Extensions you installed in Firefox did so as this has happened.
