From all I've seen there is no simple solution for fixing "tabs on bottom/below bookmarks".

Originally there was an option for fixing this in settings.. which is no longer. It used to be there was an extension that also enabled this.. which is no longer.

Which brings us to today -> Version: Firefox 99.0.1 (64 bit)

Everything a person can lookup online only leads back to a very annoying and NOT simple process of editing some kinda file (that no grandma is gonna have any knowledge of how to manage that!) and making even more annoying changes to that file.

Solution that needs to be: FIX IT! FIX IT! FIX IT! - PUT IT BACK MOZILLA!!!

And to whatever "dev(s)" that are responsible for this issue.. I hope your coffee always spills, I hope traffic is nothing but brutal for you, just whatever it takes for you to stop making such dumb changes and sets the example for others to learn from so that it doesn't happen ever again.

If someone else wouldn't mind.. please go make an extension (and keep up with it) to fix this nightmare and end it because we clearly cannot rely upon the simplest of things by these fools.
