I used to be able to organize my bookmarks with the older version of firefox in a specific order including folders for each user. This is no longer available and if I do organize it only shows up in the library. So this is a reversal of the old features. Is there a way to correct this?

Sounds that you are using the Views menu in the Library (Views -> Sort). Using this way to sort is similar to clicking on the column header and only works temporarily in the Bookmarks Manager (Library).

If you want to sort the bookmarks then you need to right-click a folder name and click "Sort by Name".
