select/focus on multiple tabs to manipulate with keyboard

Hi, I would like to know how to use the keyboard to select, move, group, bookmark, load, and close multiple tabs with the keyboard all without loading the unloaded tabs. I've recently started using Tree Style Tabs add-on and I wish I could use the keyboard when doing these tasks. I've read somewhere about a firefox-native function that should allow this to happen by enabling in userChrome.css profile: .tabbrowser-tab { 

  -moz-user-focus: normal !important;

} but it doesn't work... anyone able to work with tabs efficiently using keyboard only?
