Firefox won't show current website login password like it used to.
When logging on to a website it used to be possible to show the current password that is automatically being input. That is no longer possible it seems so now you have to search the passwords for that website to locate it and then display it that way. But many times the current website is not saved under an obvious name. This makes it next to impossible to locate what used to be right in front of you (current website logon password). The worst is my current case where you lose your gmail password and try to locate it with a search of the passwords but since gmail address is the user name for 100's of websites there are 100's of results to try to find the gmail password. When it comes to Microsoft website there is zero results to Microsoft in the Firefox password search even though Firefox easily logs me in. Why did Firefox stop allowing the user to see the current password being input to websites. if they did not stop that access then I do not know how to do it anymore. Used to be a simple right click on the password field. Then you could go direct to the password manager location of that website.

I can see the passwords for the site in the screenshot by clicking on "View Saved Logins" which takes me Firefox Lockwise to see the password. Are you not seeing the same drop down with logins?
Why does everyone keep talking about "lockwise". What is that? All the show "saved logins" button does is show all the logins for every website that I ever made a password for. Firefox used to do that too but it would highlight the current password. It does not now. Just alphabetical from the start. Also there used to be a way to see the current website password without leaving the login page. I think it was right clicking the password input line for the website which had been filled with stars and choose show password.
Lockwise is the name of the current Firefox Password Manager and opens the about:logins page.
You should be able to use "Fill Login" and "Fill Password" in the right-click context menu of username and password fields on the web page. "Fill Login" and "Fill Password" should also be available if the Password Manager is disabled (i.e. no tick on "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites"). Note that you may have to enter the Primary Password in Lockwise (about:logins) to unlock the passwords and enable the Fill menu items.
I am able to use fill in with right clicks. What I am referring to is the inability to see what is being filled in or to find it in the "lockwise" so that I can see it there. I am saying the browser used to go straight to the exact lockwise location of the exact password being filled in. Now it goes to "lockwise" but it takes you to the alphabetical beginning of the passwords list, not the password being currently filled, like it used to.
