Constant tab crashing on Mac OS 11.1 - Firefox 74

I have added Firefox 74 to my MacBook Pro, running Mac OS Big Sur 11.1. Each time I sign in, it says it is trying to install a "helper," which I have approved. Several webpages have continually crashed, however, ranging from Amazon product pages to Epson website pages to the "reply" page on a web-based email server, which I have never had problems with before, and can still access without trouble on my old MacBook Pro (OX X El Capitan 10.11.16) also with Firefox 74.

Could there be a setting within my MacBook OS that is causing the problem?
