Hello. I use firefox on my pc. I created master password to work on few pc-s. But what is the point of it, since when I enter mozilla, it asks me to enter it, but I can only close this window and just access anything. Is there a way to have a password that would stop other people using my firefox?

thanks

You need to enter the Primary/Master Password to unlock the Password Manager (Lockwise) and make it possible that Firefox accesses stored passwords. It doesn't prevent you from accessing Firefox.

A possible reason Firefox asks for the PP is that you are using Sync. The Sync login credentials are stored in the Password Manager and you need to enter the PP in order to connect to Sync. If you cancel this prompt then Sync isn't working until enter the PP after another prompt.

Thanks. It is clear now.

Is there a way to have a password for my browser? When sharing PC with other people, so all can use Firefox, but only I can reach my data, sites, tabs, logins.?

Not with Firefox.

You need to set a password on your Windows user account and create a guest account for others that use the computer.
