Hello Bartholo77, I would be very glad to help you Today. The fix won't be to complicated as he seen problem is that you have to much cache to handle.

The solution if you were using Firefox and Internet Explorer is the same.

1. Hit Ctrl, Shift, Delete at the same time.(Ctrl+Shift+Delete)

2. If your on Firefox, you can select a time range of history to delete(I recommend everything as that will be the best for the problem you have. NOTE :It will delete all browsing history but No passwords or anything like that). Click OK when done. If your on IE (Internet Explorer), do step 1 and just click Delete

Done! Now it should work and if it doesn't, please tell me and Stay Safe!

Alrighty, This should help

1. Close Internet Explorer.

2. Open a new Internet Explorer browser, then click Tools > Internet Options.

3. In the General tab, under Browsing History section, click Delete.

4. In the Delete Browsing History window, select the check boxes for Temporary Internet Files and website files and Cookies and website data. If you have saved any Pearson sites as Favorites, clear the check box for Preserve Favorites website data.

5. Click Delete and your done!!

Sorry I find no way to close Internet Explorer: I also do not know what you mean with that. is firefox the internet explorer? i saw somewhere in control panel internet exploroer and it did not offer me the option to close it. Meanwhile after your previous suggestion Alt control Delete I can no longer see the navigation bar under my screen; and i do not know how to restore that.

Oh! I'm very sorry about my Misunderstanding. I thought you were using the Browser Internet Explorer(That was completely MY fault). For the simplest guide to clear cache, go here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache. That is the official Firefox guide and I couldn't write as guide like that. I hope that helps and again, feel free to reply and express your feelings. Thank you and, Stay Safe!

Hi Bartholo77, it's strange for a website to accuse Firefox of being Internet Explorer.

When was the last time this page worked normally for you in Firefox?

Can you recall any changes on your system since that time, including updates to Firefox, updates to Windows 10, or updates to your security software or other browsing filters?

Do you want to share the URL of the problem page so forum volunteers can see whether they experience the same problem?

Ctrl+Alt+Delete normally calls up a system screen with various option on it. Once you dismiss that screen (for example, by pressing Esc), things should look normal again. If Firefox is covering the Windows Taskbar, perhaps it is in full screen view? The F11 key will switch between regular and full screen views.

Hi Bartholo77, Firefox includes a built-in JavaScript interpreter and compiler. There is no need for a JavaScript add-on. What did you download and install, exactly?

Thank you for the screenshot. It seems the problem is that style sheets needed to lay out the page properly are not loading. For example, this is one of the style sheets used in the page, which loads from a different server:

https://a.academia-assets.com/assets/libraries-730d0291db5282bd3bee465ecb4ced6a7fbd02a88e847b91794ef0ca78495d17.css

If you click that link, you normally should get a wall of text starting with

/*! normalize.css v3.0.1 | MIT License | git.io/normalize */html{font-family:

Do you get text or an error message of some kind?

If multiple different browsers do not work with a particular site, the issue could be:

  • there is a problem with the site
  • there is a problem with your router (the box provided by your service provider that connects you to the internet) -- from time to time, you might want to unplug it for several seconds to reset it
  • the connection from both browsers runs through a filter, which could be security software, parental control software, or another program
  • some other external factor

Can you add the additional server to the exceptions and see whether that works:

In the article is the word "covid-19". And when it seems not to follow the WHO (big brother) rules it gets blocked.

Blocked by your internet service provider?

Here in California our local County health department makes the rules. So many rules.
