Whenever I start Firefox, I get the usual "Sorry. We just need ..." and leaves me no option but to restart. I tried refreshing, removing the profile folder, the whole .mozilla folder, uninstalling and reinstalling, nothing works. If I change user on the same computer, everything works as normal. Can you suggest something?

I mean this happens repeatedly, right? FF stays in that state. I can't do anything but restarting...

Are you using WLS by chance? I was having the same issue on my WLS installation, and after a lot of digging, it seems the newer version of firefox only works on WLS 2? I can't move to WLS 2, at the moment, as I don't have admin rights on this device. I ended up having to downgrade to an older version of firefox (67 worked for me). If yours is not at all the same issue, please disregard all of this.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
