Among them are major ones like imgur.com, linkedin.com and other websites, firefox gives tones of errors in console like this one:

Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at https://...?x=1&y=2&z=3. (Reason: CORS request did not succeed).[Learn More]

Why other browsers work fine with those sites and Firefox went to shit? 2 years ago it was one of the reliable browsers ever and now it works like crappy chinese Opera

If you are using Avast (or AVG) for your anti-virus program, they have an Enable HTTPS Scanning feature that can really slow down or completely block certain website files.

If that doesn't help, trying Firefox Safe Mode is always a good idea to ensure that you don't have any add-ons installed on Firefox that are blocking content.

Your Enhanced Tracking Protection settings are also a good place to look to make sure that they aren't set too strict. If they are too strict, it can break certain websites.

Thank you for the help, sadly nothing helps from here. I've turned all firewalls, antitrackers, adblockers off and nothing works, though on other PC same Firefox with same addons loads those sites very well!

The only thing reliable about this browser for at least 6 months now has been the ad blocker. Everything else is complete shit. I'm about to go back to Safari, and that's pretty sad.

You can create a new profile as a quick test to see if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
