</p><p>If that doesn't help, it's possible that for some reason a new Profile has been created, in which case your bookmarks etc., will be in it. See <a href="/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data" rel="nofollow">Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data</a>
</p><p>Inside Firefox, type or paste <strong>about:profiles</strong> in the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it. The <a href="/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles#w_manage-profiles-when-firefox-is-open" rel="nofollow">About Profiles page</a> will open. This page should list at least one profile and could list many.
