Sounds like you updated to Firefox 70.0.1 from a much older version of Firefox. The Description field in bookmarks was removed many versions in the past, along with other "annotations" feature in Places. And that removal wasn't all at once; first that Descriptions field was hidden from view (with the data being retained) in the Bookmarks Menu, then a few versions later all the code for Descriptions was eliminated along with the saved Descriptions data.

If you happen to have saved an Export of bookmarks in HTML format from a past version of Firefox your data can probably be retrieved.

Is there any other way ? Because it seems like I've never saved before with Excel.
