New PDFs have stopped opening automatically after printing -- only online, not on desktop

I use Acrobat DC. Have used it for quite a while and no problems printing either from online or from a desktop application. I am constantly printing PDFs from online -- e.g., receipts of bills paid, articles to do with my work, etc. In past, when I print a new PDF, it automatically opens, just like when printing from within desktop applications. This is a very necessary step in my work because of the volume that I print. I've been doing this for YEARS, and it has always worked. Now, suddenly, the PDFs no longer open upon printing from online (printing from desktop apps still works as expected). I have not personally changed any settings in either Firefox or Acrobat DC. But something must be different. Is it a glitch due to a Firefox update? Or could something have changed a setting for me?

As I said, I do a lot of my printing in volume, so this is becoming very frustrating as it means every time I print to PDF from online, I have to leave Firefox and go find the particular folder and make any necessary notations (or even just make sure the PDF created at all, before I dare leave the web site I've just printed from), vs. having the PDF right there in front of me immediately as has always been the case for years in the past.

I've already posted to the Adobe forum, and no help has hit the money spot as yet. And, as I said, I've checked all my actual Acrobat settings, and they appear correct (plus, as I said, the PDFs do open automatically when I print from desktop applications).

I'd really appreciate some quick help here. (Btw, I use Windows 10 operating system, 64-bit.)

Thanks in advance!
