Thunderbird freezing and/or crashing when moving email an email on mac

I'm experiencing an issue with Thunderbird when trying to move an email thread, that I have recently replied to, into a folder after sending it.

The issue began first with it crashing randomly and working fine in Safe Mode. Now this issue also occurs in Safe Mode and does not crash but freezes after the email has been moved or is left hanging with the loading wheel spinning infinitely until a restart or force quit.

For some strange reason, it does not produce a BP ID for me to copy when I try and send a crash report, but was able to download one but cannot attach it so here is a WeTransfer Link (https://we.tl/t-5OegralWcw).

Any ideas what the issue could be? It's happening on a MacBook Pro with a touch pad and running version 10.14.6. ThunderBird is up to date.
