Before doing anything, first do this https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-set-sync-my-computer
This will help. It is not a backup but it helps.
Please read here specifically for the refresh feature
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings
What does the refresh feature do?
All of your Firefox settings and personal information are stored in a profile folder. The refresh feature works by creating a new profile folder for you while saving your important data.
Add-ons which are normally stored inside the Firefox profile folder, such as extensions and themes, will be removed. Add-ons stored in other locations will not be removed but any modified preferences will be reset.
Firefox will save these items:
Bookmarks Browsing and download history Passwords Open windows and tabs Cookies Web form auto-fill information Personal dictionary
These items and settings will be removed:
Extensions and themes Website permissions Modified preferences Added search engines DOM storage Security certificate and device settings Download actions Toolbar customizations User styles (chrome subfolder containing userChrome and/or userContent CSS files, if previously created.)Čítať túto odpoveď v kontexte 👍 1

Does print preview show your printer options? That would be first to see what is there to choose to make sure something isn't missing. Sometimes printer don't like wifi and USB connections at the same time you have to use one or the other.

1st posted 6/29/19.Still can't print from FF (now on 68.0.1 64bit)as before I CAN print from IE and now Chrome(recently got rid of Opera) This is really a PIA I don't see why this can't be fixed
Have u tried doing a firefox reset?
Don't forget to sync your firefox account so all your addons and bookmarks etc come back once you sync.
so if I do the reset EVERYTHING(add-ons,bookmarks,all toolbars will be there)?
