Open Firefox Nightly. Then open your file browser to the
bookmarks backup folder of your normal profile.

jscher2000 has a tool on his website to extract out your bookmarks and save them to an HTML-format bookmark export file. If you want to try it, here is the page:

To open the bookmarkbackups folder in Finder, use the "Open in Finder" button in the first table on the Troubleshooting Information page, and double-click into bookmarkbackups where you should see several dated files. From there you can drag and drop onto the conversion tool.

I don't know what you mean by network support but I did start computer in safe mode and it did not help. I downloaded Firefox Nightly, then signed into mozilla account and retried to download firefox quantum ( I don't think I had firefox quantum before, just firefox). My computer did tell me I had updates today and I clicked "try tonight." After this issue, I looked for software updates and there weren't any, so I don't know if that is the issue. I cannot access my profile to import my bookmarks to firefox nightly and fire fox quantum still won't open, even after adding them to my list of "ok to open" in firewall and restarting computer. I really need firefox and my bookmarks.

You are saying the browser will not open in Safe Mode.
