See if this helps; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-to-fix-preferences-wont-save

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.

Hello shilow19,

The only Flash settings you can set in Firefox are in 3-bar menu => Add-ons => Plugins => Shockwave Flash.

But you may be talking about these settings :

You will probably already have tried this, but just in case :

If this is about local SharedObject (LSO) in the Flash player then try:

Clear the Flash local storage and settings.

  • Windows Control Panel > Flash Player, click Delete All and Delete Data

Delete the macromedia.com and #SharedObjects folders to reset all Flash cookies and settings.

  • Windows: %AppData%\Macromedia\Flash Player\
