Firefox hangs on loading site works in safe mode Edge and Chrome also work different sites involved
Sometimes it works properly, but lately problem worse. Firefox hangs @ site on initial loading. It works in safe mode and chrome - edge work also. I cleared cookies no help.

disable norton addons and try again.

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.
You will need to restart Firefox for this to take effect so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.,) and then perform these steps:
In Firefox 54 and below:
- Click the menu button
and select Options (Windows) or Preferences (Mac, Linux).
- Select the Advanced panel and the General tab.
- Uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available.
- Close Firefox completely and then restart Firefox to see if the problem persists.
In Firefox 55 and above:
- Click the menu button and select Options (Windows) or Preferences (Mac, Linux).
- Select the General panel.
- Under Performance, uncheck Use recommended performance settings. Additional settings will be displayed.
- Uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available.
- Close Firefox completely and then restart Firefox to see if the problem persists.

No message Firefox not responding. Message is waiting for whatever site to respond. I have waited many minutes and no response. Firefox loads home page but any site I go to it partially loads and then waits for the site for site info. This happens on different sites. Sometimes it works, lately it`s more solid problem.

use malwarebytes in safe mode and normal mode.
New result, if I open options first I can go to any site with 0 failures. When I close options problem returns solid. It works when I open Firefox then options not changing or selecting anything and go to any site (many) I have no failures. I don`t understand. It doesn`t seem logical. I know that somehow it is.
