If it just froze and you had to shut it down do not send but if it went poof and gone please send your crash report : Make sure to include the bp- as in the picture please :

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
2. Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

I have already submitted the crash report pkshadow as stated in my inital message. Crash ID 31cbf8d6-7f5a-4a0c-b709-2278e1180709 has been submitted.

cor-el My concern is that this should never occur for google site as it is always secure. I will try the web console and network monitor next time to see if it provides light on the problem.

I should add that I only have one add on" ublock origin" but since the issue disappeared immediately after open a new window I dont think it could be a culprit.

No, it shouldn't happen and that is why you need to check out what is going on.

You can try to inspect the certificate and possibly check the issuer via "Tools -> Page Info -> Security". There is more detail on the Security tab in the Network Monitor for the main HTML file (first item in the list; you probably need to refresh via F5).

Hi, if you notice in your pic of the certificate the top is for *.google.com so it is giving you the sub-domains certificate.

Also in your log in your message nothing refers to google.com but of sub-domains.

Hi *.google.com is normal for youtube.com. I was getting the lock symbol with the caution in the bottom right corner.

The problem is google.com is always secure (full green lock) something broke that.

Are you possibly using Private Browsing mode?

Cross origin security errors can be caused by blocking cookies for some essential domains, so maybe check that in case you aren't allowing cookies or use extensions that deal with cookies (blocking content).

I am using private browsing. But I was allowing cookies for youtube. I do not understand what you mean by extensions.

I don't think there is a setting for that. Also, Google instructs browsers never to use HTTP for its sites, so that would override anything like that.

Usually the yellow warning triangle indicates "mixed display content" -- images retrieves via HTTP addresses into an HTTPS page -- but your list of console messages didn't mention mixed content. Another possible cause is using a cached page, but private windows do not use the regular window cache. Hmm...

Does the lock go back to normal if you reload bypassing the cache? You can do that by either:

• Hold down the Shift key while clicking the Reload button
• Press Command+Shift+r

I'm not sure what uBlock Origin is doing that might contribute to this issue, but if it is clearly the culprit, try one of their support avenues:

I am not using a Memory resident virus protection. I have changed my only extension from ublock origin to ad block plus to see if this problem disappears.

So the address bar shows HTTPS but for some reason Firefox believes the connection is not secure. When that happens, if you view the Page Info dialog's Security tab, is there any additional information on the lower section?

You can call that up using any of these:

• right-click a blank area of the page and choose View Page Info > Security
• (menu bar) Tools menu > Page Info > Security
• click the padlock or "i" icon to the left of the site address, then the ">" icon, then More Information

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.
