First of all I have tried to clear the Cache on Firefox more than once. I have tried disabling my Anti-Virus programs and it didn't work. It seems to be only on this site as well as the site downforeveryoneorjustme.com and the site's Facebook account told me that the site is just fine. Here is some picture evidence from the former...

But still what I have been doing I keep getting this message...

The connection has timed out

The server at www.behindthevoiceactors.com is taking too long to respond.

It has been on & off before but I wasn't able to access the site at all today. Is this because of any of the add-ons I have, what is going on?

Alright Ladies & Gents I can finally say that I resolved this issue. I just simply got a somewhat more recent router. (It was for the best that Belkin router I was using was about a decade old. I now have a TP-Link router from D-Link that was about 4 years old.) However while we did try to see it up yesterday there were some problems...

- My Father & Older Brother can get in through a Wired Connection but my computer is Wireless Connection only as it is not set up for Wired Connections

- The router we are using now is used so we had a hard time trying to find the Security Key and had no way of getting a password.

So we had to reset the router in order to be able to set up wireless connections and we did that earlier so I'm now online with a newer & better router. So yeah this issue is indeed closed as I can be back on sites like BTVA again.

As you apparantly can get to the Page Info, you can set Flash to 'Allow' , like I described earlier.

I'm completely out of ideas and can only hope that someone else will come to your rescue (sorry .... )

Well I seem to have good/bad news.

Just a few moments ago I tried to access the site www.behindthevoiceactors.com from my father's computer and I was not able to do so at all.

The Good news is that I think I may finally have figured out what is going wrong here. This isn't because of my computer but it seems to be because of my network connection here. So if any of you can help me in that regard that would be appreciated.

You can try different DNS servers and try to disable IPv6 (check for other possible causes as well).

See my last post (and earlier posts).

Should everything fail and you still can't access the site in, let's say, a couple of days : let me know, and I will try to contact them.

Well folks I did try to reset my router last night and it did not work. I'm thinking I will go to my local Library tomorrow and just try to access www.behindthevoiceactors.com there.

If I can access it there then I will know for sure that there is something wrong with the settings in my house's network. If that is the case then I will call my router company Belkin's Customer Support line and see what I should do. Because I should not do anything that could potentially jeopardize my home's network connections since my father & older brother are often online as well.

Okay folks here is the latest update.

Good news, I did confirm that the site does indeed still work as I was able to access it just fine on my local Library's computer there yesterday. (I would've also done so today but the Library is closed on Wednesdays.) So I can at least access the site when I am at other places such as the Library.

Bad News, I did try to contact Belkin's Customer Support Chat and it was of little help. The router I'm using is rather old and its a model Belkin doesn't even make anymore and since the warranty is long past void I could still get technical support from Belkin but it wouldn't be free. I was also advised that I should just get a newer model and while I do agree but I wouldn't be able to do so right away. I have been looking around online and 2 potential methods I could potentially do are...

A. Try to get into the Routers settings and lower the MTU settings down by increments of 10. Apparently sometimes the MTU number in your router can be a bit too high which can make it difficult to access certain sites or be able to send & receive e-mail a bit more difficult. And if your first attempt doesn't keep lowering the # down by increments of 10.

or

B. If Option A doesn't work at all or its unable to work just reset the router to Factory settings. Apparently it won't be hard to regain Internet connection but any security details would have to be re-entered.

Thank you for the update - looks like you've got some decisions to make (the kind that we can't help you with ..... )

Well, you don't need me to contact that site then, eh  ?

And : Firefox is 'off the hook' (so to speak) .......

Good luck  !

Check with your ISP. You might be able to rent one from them.
