Firefox does not automatically switch between display profiles

I noticed that Firefox does not switch between display profiles when I change the profile in use. I have a Eizo monitor and regularly switch between sRGB and a wide gamut calibrated profile. I have Firefox setup correctly for color managent, and it DOES find the right profile at startup, but it does not perform "live" changes. This means that when switching between profiles, I have to restart Firefox to get it to use the correct profile. My other browsers DO detect "live" profile switching however... but I prefer Firefox. Can't this be added? Where do I make such a request? Any other suggestions?

Running FF 59.0.1 on macOS 10.13.3
