Hi I am using Firefox 52.4.0 64bit for openSUSE Leap with the KDE Desktop. Often when I browse the web FF freezes and stops working for ca 1 or up to 5 min. Hoovering over links wont change the mouse curser, open a new tab isn't possible, so it stops working and I have to close the Window, with the normal Question from KDE, if I want to wait for Firefox or should I close the Application. What a friend found out: if i use lsof -p XXXXX (process-id of Firefox) solves the problem till FF freezes again.

I am using a 4.4.90-18.32-default kernel on a intel i5 sandybridge machine.

So far I tried: Start in safe mode Delete my profile Disable the addons https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1158178 didn't help. Refresh firefox

Now i am running out of ideas, what can i do?

cheers Poik
