Does Mozilla have anything to do with Digital Dreams 76.73.236.8 ?
I keep seeing my computer connecting to IP's allocated to Digital Dreams. FireFox will not update unless I allow the connection. But, it does not appear to use D D's boxes during the update.

Firefox should update from Mozilla.org Not somewhere else.

Save the file. Then Close Firefox.
Using your file browser, open the Programs Folder on your computer.
Windows: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86)

Look for, and rename any Mozilla or Firefox program folders by adding .old to them. Do not rename the Mozilla Thunderbird folder if there is one.
