I can't get into my emails, it states; network connection timed out!

Okay; I have 2 e-mail accounts I am having problems getting into them. 

I go to log in and a message states "Network connection timed out".

Then I have to ask for a conformation code ; they send it to me and everything works fine for at least 8 hours and then at least one e-mail account gets wiped out and have to ask for another code to get into my e-mails. This situation only happens with Firefox. The only way I can get into mt e-mails is going through Safari since I have a Mac Book Pro. What's the solution?
