how can i get all the emails to be shown separately?

I get lost with the emails stacked with a prompt saying mozilla thunderbird has hidden some email chains..how do i stop this since the hidden emails may be important to me while they are not important to you?

Also, i don't like the circularity of getting here. going to redundant screens seems to be a microsoft thing but then mozilla is priority 1000000000000000000000000000000000000 foe them and anything microsoft is priority 1. Done this too many times.
